All jackets and trousers of the Rukka AirPower line – also called "APR" for short – are made of Cordura AFT, a fabric which is not only very breathable and abrasion-resistant but also extremely comfortable. Cordura AFT was developed by Rukka in cooperation with Dupont. Thanks to its high degree of abrasion resistance, this fabric has proven its worth and success in the motorcycle industry. On warm summer days the Cordura fabric of the Rukka AirPower collection keeps you pleasantly cool and dry and on cold days the removable Gore-Tex Performance Shell membrane protects you against rain and wind. In addition to the features already mentioned, some Rukka AirPower jackets are equipped with the AirVantage Insulation technology for adjustable insulation. By adjusting the air chambers contained in the removable inner jacket of the Rukka AirPower jackets, the insulation level of the garment can be controlled by the biker himself. This allows the use of Air Power equipment whatever the season or the temperature. To enhance the riding comfort even further, the inner jackets of all Rukka AirPower jackets have an Outlast lining to buffer temperature fluctuations. To protect the biker, each jacket is equipped with patented RVP Air Protectors. 3M Scotchlite reflectors enhance the safety at night and in low visibility situations on the road.
